Manchester United are reportedly lining-up a move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe, with the Frenchman identified as Cristiano Ronaldo's replacement.

Ronaldo is expected to leave the club following his controversial interview with Piers Morgan, and The Mirror are reporting that the club are already looking at other attackers - with Mbappe viewed as a surprise January target. The 23-year-old, who has scored 19 goals and bagged five assists so far this season, signed a record-breaking contract with PSG in the summer.

The report claims that Mbappe would cost upwards of £150m and the Reds are thought to be one of very few clubs in Europe able to match the player's staggering wages, which are said to be around £500,000 a week.

While previous reports suggested that the former Monaco man was unhappy in Paris, it appears that his relationship with manager Christoph Galtier has improved in recent weeks.

Elsewhere, GIFN are reporting that United are interested in signing South Korean and Napoli centre-back Kim Min-Jae in next summer's transfer window.

It was previously unclear if the 26-year-old defender's contract contained a release clause, but the Italian club's director, Cristiano Giuntoli, has since revealed that the player can in fact be acquired for a certain price.

"It is only valid for foreign clubs and it’s accessible in a window in July, for just 15 days," said Giuntoli, as relayed by Football Italia.

Napoli are keen on offering Min-Jae a new deal, with his current contract expiring in 2025. The centre-back has made 20 appearances for the Serie A giants this term, and has registered two goals.
