Manchester United have appointed Neil McIlhargey as a recuritment analyst for the club.
McIlhargey has started working with United having previously held positions in English football with roles at both Watford and Brentford.
The analyst also worked as the former Head of Analysis for Scottish side Rangers, after he was brought to the club under the reign of former manager Mark Warburton, who he worked with during his time at Brentford.
McIlhargey's role at Rangers saw him head up the analysis team at Ibrox as well as work alongside the coaching staff. He was also invovled in helping with the recuritment of transfer targets.
After three successful years at Rangers McIlhargey worked as a consultant analyst, a role which saw him work closely with the Scottish FA, and in particular their youth sides.
McIlhargey becomes the second notable addition to the United set-up since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was made permanent manager of the club, after Andrew Meredith also joined the club as an analysis operations manager early this season.
The former director of performance analysis for FC St.Pauli officially started working for United in September.
Prior to his spell with the German second division side Meredith worked as a coach with the German hockey side which won gold at the both the Beijing 2008 and London 2012 olympics.
The 47-year-old also previously held a role as a technical analyst for the Australian men's national football side.

Manchester United with stickers like rashford and martial will never see league cups unless they learn sense to buy better stickers , they should learn from Tottenham, man city and Liverpool how these teams have eyes for selecting a good players to buy.

Recuritment Analyst instead of Director of Sports... I think I see why they have been reluctant to appoint a Director of Sports, because Woodward wants someone who will work at his pleasure and the title "Recuritment Analyst" looks perfect for him. I hope United will stop playing around and get serious with football sooner rather than later... City and Liverpool are already on a different level, yet they're still playing power tussle!

What We Need Most At This Moment Is A Sporting Director Of Football.., Not A Recruitment Analyst. Ridiculous Move Yet Again By Woodclown. This Joker Who Know Nothing About Football Is Just Trying To Control Everything At United. ππ»ππ»ππ»
