With key games in three competitions on the horizon Ten Hag will be desperate for the likes of Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw to return.
After a shaky start to life under Erik ten Hag, Manchester United have looked much improved in recent months.
With less than two months of the season remaining they are still fighting on three fronts after already picking up the EFL Cup with a win over Newcastle United. A top four finish, the FA Cup and the Europa League are still on the radar for Ten Hag’s men, but they are currently without a number of key players.
We take a look at Manchester United’s upcoming fixtures and their current injury list, with some rough dates as when the Old Trafford faithful will see them back on the pitch.
Manchester United: April fixtures
Sevilla vs Manchester United, 20 April (Europa League quarter-final, second leg)
Brighton & Hove Albion vs Manchester United, 23 April (FA Cup semi-final)
Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester United, 27 April (Premier League)
Manchester United vs Aston Villa, 30 April (Premier League)
Manchester United: Injury list
Erik ten Hag is currently facing injuries to at least ten members of his first team squad. With four fixtures in 11 days on the horizon, he will be hoping that some of them are fit to play in the crucial Europa League second leg against Sevilla.
Here’s the current state of play for the Old Trafford injury list...
Tyrell Malacia – Sore knee
Scott McTominay – Unknown
Marcus Rashford – Groin
Luke Shaw – Muscle injury
Tom Heaton – Ankle
Marcel Sabitzer – Knock
Alejandro Garnacho – Ankle
Raphael Varane – Foot
Lisandro Martinez – Broken metatarsal
Donny van de Beek – Knee
These return dates are only rough estimates and are subject to change as players’ recoveries develop. Also, some of the more long-term injured may need more time to return to full match fitness.
But it does look like Ten Hag will have a number of key players back in contention in the coming weeks.

We could see at least 4 players to return soon. Rashford,Shaw,Scot,Malacia could be back for return leg at Sevilla. Sabitzer & Varane to follow till our game against Brighton. May be we could use the same eleven barring Bruno( suspended). Expecting Fred to replace Bruno & Eriksen playing no 10.

All the players are good to play in the highest level so it was just a matter of choice of the coach so the next team will step up and do it all right.
