Manchester United have reportedly expressed an interest in signing one of Spain's Euro 2024 winners.
Erik ten Hag's side have already been heavily active in the transfer market so far this summer.
United's first major deal saw them bring in forward Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna for £36.5million.
That was followed by the arrival of Leny Yoro, with the 18-year-old signing from Lille for £52million.
Ten Hag is now seeking to make further additions to his squad.
According to Manchester Evening News, United are monitoring Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi.
Zubimendi replaced Rodri at half time during the Euro 2024 final as Spain overcame England.
25-year-old Zubimendi, who has ten caps for Spain, has spent his entire career at Real Sociedad so far.
The defensive midfielder has made 188 appearances for Sociedad. Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Zubimendi.
United have reportedly agreed personal terms with Manuel Ugarte, but Paris Saint-Germain are not willing to sell the Uruguayan midfielder for less than £59million.

Martin Zubimendi of Spain is far better for the Job due to his total ball control, creativity, release clause, composure, defending tactics, age advantage, style of playing, pressure absorptivity etc than all the Man United existing defensive midfielders and even those indicated interest by the team ❤💖💓
