Manchester United star Paul Pogba hailed the greatness of his teammate Cristiano Ronaldo after the Portuguese superstar bagged a hat-trick against Tottenham Hotspur. The awe-struck midfielder was clearly happy with Ronaldo's sublime performance for the side and couldn’t help discussing it after the game.
Pogba, who played a part in the Red Devils' attempts to control the midfield, gave all the plaudits to Cristiano Ronaldo on the day, telling BBC Sport (via GOAL):
"We hurt them at the right times and Ronaldo did what he does best. He has never been a problem. You have the best striker in history in our team, he cannot be a problem. Today the performance from him and all the team was very brilliant."
In a separate interview with Sky Sports (via GOAL), he added:
“Everybody knows Cristiano – there’s no need to talk about him. That’s what he does. He didn’t play in the last game, but he comes back and scores three goals. Everybody’s happy."
Manchester United will now hope to put in similar performances and hold on to their position in the top four, come the end of the season. They remain embroiled in a battle to qualify for the Champions League next season, but will hope star performers like Ronaldo continue firing and lead them to a top-4 finish at the end of the campaign.
Manchester United could lose Cristiano Ronaldo: Reports
According to The Mirror, United could potentially lose Cristiano Ronaldo, if they fail to qualify for the Champions League at the end of the season. Despite Ronaldo competing at the top end of the goalscoring charts, United have struggled to match his impressive return and do not look guaranteed to feature in Europe's biggest competition.
The Mirror stated that the Red Devils won't stand in the way of the Portuguese superstar and have reportedly agreed to let him leave. A summer departure would mean Ronaldo lasted just one season after the United faithful pined for his return for over a decade.
The ball is in United’s court with the club, possibly, aware that they could lose the legendary forward if they don’t make it to the Champions League next season.

This is what Ronaldo wants, goals for the teams. Once he is fed well with the ball, he delivers.

To be honest... i ṭhink without Bruno our game has more balance. Bruno is always looking for a chance to score, i think sometimes he thought of himself as a striker which is sometimes a problem. Last night (without Bruno) all Players knows who is the striker, seeing Unuted feeding the ball. to their Striker changes everything.
