Sadio Mane has already asked Liverpool team-mate Thiago if he can move into his house in Munich if he joins German champions Bayern this summer, Sportsmail understands.
It is believed that Mane wants to leave Anfield for a new challenge after six years playing for the Reds.
Bayern Munich have made the 30-year-old a top target and it appears that he is already making plans to move to Bavaria.
Sportsmail sources say Mane is thinking about staying in Thiago's house in Munich and has spoken to the Spaniard about a possible arrangement.
Thiago spent seven years at Bayern, winning seven Bundesliga titles and the Champions League, before joining Liverpool in 2020. His house in the German city has been empty since he made the switch.
Mane became Senegal's all-time top scorer with a hat-trick against Benin on Saturday and after the game he clarified his previous comments that he would 'do what the Senegalese people want' and leave Liverpool. He claimed that '60 to 70 per cent' of the country were in favour of him departing Anfield.
'I spoke yesterday while joking with a bit of humour and it was everywhere,' Mane said, as quoted by journalist Cissokho Sahel.
'I think we'll stop there. Liverpool is a club I respect a lot. The fans adopted me since day one. Regarding the future, we'll see.'
Many Liverpool fans were angered by Mane seeming to confirm his wish to leave, while former Reds defender Luis Enrique slammed the forward on Instagram.
'The worse excuse I ever heard from a player to a leave a club,' Enrique wrote.
'He is and will stay as a legend for us but please Sadio you want to leave because they pay you more somewhere else and is fair but putting the excuse of the Senegalese people.'
The Times have reported that Liverpool have rejected Bayern's first bid of £21million for Mane, which included a further £4m in add-ons for conditions such as if he was to win the Champions League in Munich.
Despite the forward having just one year left on his contract at Merseyside, the Reds are likely to hold out for around double that figure.
Mane has scored 120 goals in 269 appearances for Liverpool and has won the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup and Club World Cup at Anfield.

Why are we so worried about mane leaving LFC for Bayern. So is life, one goes one comes in. let's pray to have some one like him or even better. LFC is big and will always be. let's wish him well. Hope LFC become more better without him. let's be optimistic.
