It's been revealed that Diego Maradona had been spending millions of Argentine pesos a month to support a network of families connected to him personally.
The former footballing star died in November at the age of 60 after suffering a heart attack at his home in Argentina.
Now, as details about his personal life continue to emerge, Jorge Rial of the Intrusos show on America TV has taken a look at his spending records.
"Ten million," Rial said as he showed Maradona's monthly expenditure on America TV. "It doesn't seem a lot if we're talking about Diego, but... do you know how much 10 million is? That was Maradona's fixed spending, more or less, per month.
"That was what was going out of Diego's account every month. He said it himself many times: 'I'm feeding 50 families. I'm providing for 50 families'. Families that include his entourage, employees, structures in [Argentina] and abroad.
"Why is this figure important? Because, from now onwards, who's going to pay for it? Who's going to pay the 10 million? Someone has to pay it!"
For the time being, Maradona's accounts are in the hands of Argentina's tax office, with no one able to gain access to them.

that's bulls**t....10million per month is even a lot of money for cr7 and messi....how much did Maradona earn he was a football player not Bill Gates.....he played for 20 or so years...let us assume he had a 5million a year contract...which is a lot considering the past...so he should have earned 100 million and adding sponsors and adds a max of 200 million...even if we consider he earned 300 million...there's no way he was spending 10 million every month...he would go broke in less than 3 years...ππ
