According to Marca, Yeremy Pino is suspected to have suffered a serious collarbone injury and may miss the rest of the FIFA World Cup.

Bad news for the Spanish national team. Yeremy Pino fell after a challenge in the match against Uruguay, sustaining a serious collarbone injury. The winger may miss the rest of this FIFA World Cup.

After the match, Luis de la Fuente discussed the severity of the injury. He said: "Unfortunately, it might be a collarbone injury. We'll have to wait and see—he will have an examination tomorrow. He is in a lot of pain right now, but his effort to finish the game was amazing. It was a heroic performance, and I am very grateful to him, as are his teammates even more so."

Preliminary examinations in the locker room after the match indicated that Yeremy Pino may have suffered a fractured collarbone. He left the field with his arm already in a sling. If confirmed, De la Fuente will not be able to call up a replacement player from the provisional squad for the rest of the FIFA World Cup.

Yeremy Pino's absence could disrupt the head coach's attacking setup. Against Uruguay, he came on as a substitute for Baena and later moved to the right wing after Nico Williams entered the pitch. As a versatile forward, his role is similar to that of Víctor Muñoz, who is also dealing with injury concerns and currently requires careful management.

Spain's final group stage match was marked by the Uruguayan players’ aggressive approach. Bielsa's team played with great physicality, and the referee allowed much of it to continue. The tension finally boiled over in stoppage time, when Canobbio was shown a straight red card.
