According to Italian daily La Stampa, the disgruntled Brazilian has come to an agreement to join Cristiano Ronaldo in Turin ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.
Marcelo has reportedly agreed terms to join Juventus this summer on a four-year deal and reunite with his old friend Cristiano Ronaldo in Turin after growing disillusioned with life at Real Madrid.
The Brazilian full back has lost his place to academy graduate Sergio Reguilón and missed out on the latest Brazil squad, with Tite presumably not overly impressed with the veteran’s lack of playing time at the Bernabéu. And with Madrid’s season going from bad to worse this week, Marcelo has apparently decided to make the move to Juventus and has agreed to put pen to paper on a four-year contract worth 12 million euros a season, according to Italian daily La Stampa.
Marcelo up for a Ronaldo reunion
In his 13th season at Real Madrid, Marcelo has been relegated to a the bench by Santiago Solari and even though the Argentinean’s days are numbered after a crushing week of failure, the Brazilian has decided the time is ripe for a change of scenery after watching the two Clásico defeats and Ajax’s stunning 4-1 victory that knocked the holders out of the Champions League from the bench.
Marcelo met recently with Madrid general director José Ángel Sánchez to voice his concerns over his lack of playing time and asked to be allowed to leave the club in the summer. Juventus have long been linked with a move for Marcelo, whose close friendship with Ronaldo should smooth the deal to take the Brazilian to Turin.

I love when people turn ageists saying that oh Ronaldo is 34 and Marcelo is 31 that their times are done and that Juve will never play well because they have old players. Juventus play well despite having older players. I enjoy football as a whole and don’t really follow particular teams but, Juve or the Italian league in general always have had older players still playing till there 40’s and were still going strong. 34 is still young just in football it’s determined as old for the sport but, there are lots of old players who physically are in better shape than the youths. More importantly it’s about experience if my legs aren’t as fast as they where 10 years ago and a youth is coming at me super fast and I can’t catch him what do you do???? You stay back just that bit more to be able to catch him no..... when you know what your doing and have experience of different scenarios then you still excel even beyond younger players. That’s why we have mentors. Having more experienced players will make youths flourish under their wings for the day they retire those youths would have gained massive experience and confidence to play at their best. If Marcelo really does go to Juve then all the best to him because as a full back he can go till he is 35 or even 38 and still play at a high level. Let’s not forget Sampadoria’s striker who I can write his name but it begins with a Q [Crylaugh] he’s still going strong and is 36 years old....think about it

well, am not speaking particularly about Marcelo, but i think the problem with Madrid this few days ( fall within 7days) that just passed was largely caused by the Spanish FA Most people ( except for those who have played soccer b4) dont know that, playing a rival team and losing ( not just once, but twice within 4days/week is mentally draining). The team was mentally down, and they had to play another team that had be rested for over 5days... The Spanish FA, in the light of the UCL, ought to have postponed either the Copa dey Ray or La-Liga ( between Madrid and Barca) Believe me, even Barca that won, may not be mentally down, as the psychological gain was there, but they would have been physically worn-out, thank God, they did not face Lyon this week, maybe, we would have also experience the Madrid-ajax and Psg-ManU situation. in all, the handwriting was there, in the 1st leg, Ajax did the playing ,Madrid ( using experience with no Elclassico in mind) did the scoring. Barca, be warned

that's why Juve do not win the Champions league. they think they are very smart in these type of transfers. picking up reputed players past their prime from big clubs. mostly for free. and they think they landed a coup. Ronaldo, Marcelo, Matuidi, Costa, Ramsey, Higuain, the list goes on.. Juve never learn. the players they buy are usually not wanted at their clubs because of form dip, ageing, etc. and thus combining a group of players who are slow, lethargic, aged, shows no hunger on pitch, no excitement. a big player past his prime is just playing for exhibition. like Ronaldo. it doesn't matter for him he won 5. Watching Juve play is like watching exhibition football..

If Juve replace Sandro with Marcelo, they truly are ridiculous and wont last long in Europe. Most teams are going after young players for the future Juve are going after 30+ year olds. They bought Ronaldo past his prime and the only reason he dominates is cos the Serie A is nowhere near as competitive as leagues like BPL. He knew he wouldn't hack it here and snubbed a return to United.

I heard that Ramos responded to President of Madrid, accusing Pérez and his board of poor planning and blaming them for the disastrous season. Ramos then said“Pay me up and I’ll go” the captain said in the heat of the debate. And then, looking directly at the president, Ramos continued: “I’ve given everything and busted a gut for this badge, for this club and even for you”. The entire squad witnessed the row. if Madrid lose Marcelo, Ramos then Madrid will be force to go on leligation

No Marcelo, No Ronaldo, well ladies and gentleman, that means Zidane will never go back to Madrid, he will go to Juventus where he will be respected and not threatened for getting the sack all the time from Perez who want’s everything to be perfect without buying good experienced players.
