MARCO SILVA was ordered down the tunnel by referee Rob Jones after a furious meltdown on the sidelines during Chelsea vs Fulham.
Silva was left seething after Chelsea scored a goal in the ninth minute of added time in the first half to go 1-0 up, despite only eight minutes being added on.
The Fulham boss was visibly frustrated as Joao Pedro nodded home Chelsea's goal right before the break.
So much so that he waited on the sidelines for referee Jones after the half-time whistle had been blown.
But the official was having none of it, ordering Silva to go down the tunnel before he could even utter a word to him.
Pedro's goal had come 58 seconds beyond the eight minutes of added time that was set out by the fourth official.
However, the amount of time added by the referee is always deemed to be a minimum, with the ref allowed to extend it beyond the initial number at their discretion.
Silva was already frustrated having seen his side's opener earlier in the half chalked off by Jones after a VAR review.
Josh King's goal was disallowed following a VAR review after Rodrigo Muniz was deemed to have trodden on the toe of Trevoh Chalobah.
King had brilliantly brought the ball forward himself and tucked his effort into the bottom corner.
But teammate Muniz was deemed to have fouled Chalobah while trying to perform a roulette in the build up.
Muniz, turned while in possession of the ball and stood on the foot of the Chelsea defender who was trying to tackle him.
After being sent to the monitor to review the decision, referee Jones ruled the goal out and said the Muniz had made a "careless challenge" - despite being in possession of the ball when the foul was made.
Former Chelsea ace Joe Cole, who was on the commentary team for TNT Sports, claimed that giving fouls for moments like that is "sanitising football".
While ex-Man Utd and England star Rio Ferdinand wrote on X: "VAR killing this young man’s moment…".
A further frustration for Silva will have been that, had VAR not intervened earlier in the game, the additional team in which Chelsea scored their goal would not have been added.
Silva resorted to laughing instead of venting anger in the second half when Chelsea were awarded a penalty by VAR after Ryan Sessegnon was deemed to have handled the ball in the box.
Enzo Fernandez calmly doubled Chelsea's lead from the spot.

The 4th referee signifies 8 minutes, Chelsea scored 8 minutes and 40 seconds, it's not as if he added a full 1 minute, why this complaint? just 40 seconds they cannot hold on
soon you will feel the wrath of var too maybe against United and they will scam you with 10 seconds difference

Adding so many minutes has become a joke , 2 minutes & 4 minutes for first half & second half added time respectively was more than enough .
