Born in Madrid, Marcos Alonso joined Real Madrid's youth academy at 11, going on to represent every youth side in the following years. But it was with Bolton Wanderers in England (2010–2013) and later with Fiorentina in Italy (2013–2016) where he made his name. In 2016, Alonso signed with Chelsea for around £24 million. He has been playing there for 3 years and is now already a regular starter!
