Manchester United were handed two fresh injury concerns after Marcus Rashford and Andre Onana were both subbed off for their countries on Friday night.
Rashford, 26, was withdrawn after an accidental collision with England team-mate Trent Alexander-Arnold during England's routine 2-0 win at home to Malta. The struggling forward, who has failed to score for United in well over two months, received treatment from medical staff but was unable to continue, replaced by Chelsea's Cole Palmer for his England debut.
Meanwhile, United goalkeeper Onana was forced off with under 10 minutes to go in Cameroon's 3-0 victory over Mauritius. The Β£47million signing looked to be in discomfort when the World Cup qualifier entered its closing stages and after consulting with his nation's physios, he limped off in place of Fabrice Ondoa.
Onana has played every competitive match for the Red Devils since joining from Inter Milan in August but has received criticism following a string of high-profile errors which have contributed to United's dismal start to the season.
Rashford, too, is going through a rough patch, which will not helped by his collision with Alexander-Arnold. As the 26-year-old made a run for the ball, he was accidentally wiped out by Liverpool right-back Alexander-Arnold. Rashford went bundling over in pain, having failed to make an impact on the match.
His and Onana's potential absences add to the list of injury concerns which under-fire United manager Erik ten Hag is having to deal with. Most recently, Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund were forced to pull out of Denmark's squad.
Ahead of United's nervy 1-0 win at home to Luton last Saturday, veteran defender Jonny Evans was ruled out for the "next few weeks" and withdrew from Northern Ireland's squad. Defence is the most depleted area for Ten Hag, with left-backs Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia joining centre-back Lisandro Martinez in the treatment room.
Right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka also missed the Luton clash through illness. In midfield, Casemiro isn't set to return until January, having endured a sluggish start to the campaign.
In positive news, youngsters Amad and Kobbie Mainoo are on the verge of returning. United face a tricky run of fixtures after international break, with trips to Everton and Newcastle coming either side a must-win Champions League tie away to Galatasaray, who beat them at Old Trafford last month.

I am also very happy that that fucking Rashford is injured, how I wish his injury goes upto February next year, the team will gain so much. He doesn't contribute anything to the team

For Onana's absence can be good luck for Altay Bayindir and it seems long over due to start a match in Manchester united. Onana should be ready to fight back his position because Altay Bayindir is so good. Good luck to Bayindir.
