Marseille have 'reached an agreement to sign Watford and Senegal winger Ismaila Sarr'.
Sarr joined the Hornets for a club record £28.8 million in 2019 and has enjoyed mixed success in his time at Vicarage Road.
He was unable to keep them in the Premier League after scoring just five goals in his first season at the club, but helped them win promotion next season by notching 13 in the Championship.
The Senegal international showed glimpses of his talent the next season as Watford again failed to stay in the top flight, but stayed at the relegated club that summer despite interest from Tottenham and Aston Villa.
He looks set to leave now, though, with the Athletic reporting there have been 'no meaningful attempts' to extend his contract, which will be up at the end of next season.
They also claim The 25-year-old is 'expected to undergo a medical in France on Monday', with personal terms already agreed by both parties.
The Hornets were unable to challenge for promotion last season as they stumbled to 11th in a competitive Championship season, but Sarr did manage 10 goals.
He also enjoyed an promising World Cup, scoring a key goal against in a win over Ecuador that helped Senegal get out of their group for just the third time in their history.
If a move to Marseille can be agreed, Sarr will join former Chelsea and Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who joined the club on a three-year deal on Friday.
It comes after a sorry spell at Stamford Bridge for the striker, who scored just one Premier League goal last year in a turbulent Blues season.
He was once among the most exciting forwards in Europe, and could prove an excellent signing for Marseille if manager Marcelino can get the best out of him.
Les Phoceens finished third in the league last season, but may be eyeing a title challenge amid chaos at French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
