Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli has spoken of his pride after he was singled out for praise by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
Martinelli has been on the Gunners' standout stars this season, scoring 10 times all competitions for Mikel Arteta's side.
Two of the goals came against the Reds in the Carabao Cup back in November, with the German quick to praise the forward after the game.
“Martinelli's pretty much the same age but he's a talent of the century, he's an incredible striker, so it's really difficult,” Klopp said.
Klopp's praise has been warmly appreciated by the former Ituano man, who branded the Liverpool boss 'one of the best tacticians in the world'.
“I feel very proud that one of the best tacticians in the world speaks well of me,” Martinelli told Spanish publication Marca.
“Now I have to remain firm, focused and continue working to achieve greater things.”
Martinelli is set to come face-to-face with Klopp again when his side welcome the current Premier League table-toppers to the Emirates on Saturday, May 2.
