Former Inter Milan and Everton defender Marco Materazzi has revealed who could replace Liam Rosenior at Chelsea.
Chelsea were drawn to face rivals Leeds United in the semi-finals of the FA Cup this week in what is their final chance at silverware under Rosenior who is coming under immense pressure.
The Blues sit outside of the top four and have failed to impress in recent weeks as they track down Champions League football which seems just out of reach for The Blues.
As pressure grows on Rosenior who is being watched by a ruthless Chelsea board, Materazzi spoke to Hajper about how one former Arsenal star could be the solution to the club’s problems.
“I was at Everton against Chelsea. I was at the FIFA Club World Cup final.
“With Enzo Maresca, they were a totally different team. What I saw in Liverpool was an easy game for Everton. Chelsea did not impress me. I think they have to change.
“They are a young team and I don’t know if they have the best manager for what Chelsea need right now. They have to try for Cesc Fabregas this summer.
“I love the job he is doing right now in Como. I don’t know if he will move because he wants to take Como to the Champions League but I can see Chelsea in the future for Fabregas. Why not?
“Chelsea are the best club for Cesc Fabregas because they have young players who will follow his words immediately.”
Rosenior recently fell out with Enzo Fernandez after his comments regarding Real Madrid, Marc Cucurella also made similar comments about Barcelona as a rift starts to form in the side who do not look like Champions League quality.

did you mistaken Cannavaro for Materrazi. Moreso, the Man is saying the truth about current situation in Chelsea. We don't have a serious minded Coach but a fine man & fine boy coach. It's only the players who can sit up and fight for the Club to win games and qualify for UCL....this our Coach is clueless & incompetent for a big Club like Chelsea

The truth is the truth and as a Chelsea fan, Chelsea is challenged this season. I may not agree with Materazzi saying Chelsea not likely to make it to UCL. Fabregas will be a very great asset as Coach for Chelsea but he may not want to come now because of the pattern of Club Owners Rosenior is not the Beautiful Rose that will take us to our trophy winning status as a Club. We don't have a serious minded Coach but a fine man & fine boy coach. It's only the players who can sit up and fight for the Club to win games and qualify for UCL....this our Coach is clueless & incompetent for a big Club like Chelsea. I am a Chelsea fan and the truth is the truth that the Board are. ot being serious with Managers recruitment and we need experienced Players...maybe we can get player like Osimhen, Alvarez, Anderson and another good CB and LB.
