The brother of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba believes a move to Real Madrid is still alive.
Mathias Pogba says Federico Valverde's rise at Real Madrid won't stop his brother's transfer to the Spanish giants.
When questioned if the 21-year-old's rise to stardom at Bernabéu could hurt Pogba's chance of signing, the CD Manchego striker said on El Chiringuito: “No, he can help him, but he can't compete with him. I don't think so.
"Can the two play together? Yes."
It has been reported that Real Madrid have called off the charge for the United midfielder after Valverde captured the hearts of the Spanish fans with his last ditch tackle on Alvaro Morata in the Supercopa final.
