Max Eberl & FC Bayern are looking for a Coman replacement - the candidates

Kingsley Coman's departure to the desert to join CR7's club Al-Nassr is imminent. For this reason, FC Bayern and Max Eberl are already searching for a suitable replacement.

One option would be to find a player who could replace Coman one-on-one on the wing. In this case, 20-year-old Malick Fofana from Olympique Lyon would be an interesting prospect. The Belgian international has a contract with the traditional French club until 2028.

It's also conceivable, however, that Bayern could strengthen their attack without signing a direct Coman successor on the wing. This leaves the issue of Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade open.

Also in the German record champions' sights are Nicolas Jackson of Chelsea and Xavi of RB Leipzig. Both have been linked with FC Bayern in the recent and more recent past, respectively.

According to Sky Sport information, the Munich-based club recently inquired about Jackson at Chelsea. The Senegalese striker is still available - contract until 2033.

Xavi was long considered an option if Bayern Munich's desired transfer of Florian Wirtz didn't materialize. The latter ultimately moved to Liverpool, and the Leipzig playmaker was primarily courted by Premier League clubs.

Could something be happening with Bayern now? At least FCB boss Eberl knows the 22-year-old Dutchman from his time at RB Leipzig. As sporting director at the time, he lured Xavi to Leipzig. The skilled technician still has a contract with the "Red Bulls" until 2027.

Bayern remains interested in Nkunku

In addition to the names mentioned, Christopher Nkunku is also among the candidates for a Coman replacement. Chelsea still plans to sell the French striker this summer. The Blues are not considering a loan.

RB Leipzig, from where Nkunku moved to London for €60 million in the summer of 2023, is also monitoring the situation. What the Saxons have definitely ruled out is a direct swap of Nkunku for Xavi or a permanent purchase.

FC Bayern remains interested in the 27-year-old striker. The talks surrounding Nkunku are being led by star agent Pini Zahavi, who also represents former FCB star Leroy Sane and new Munich signing Jonathan Tah, among others.
