Paris Saint Germain (PSG) star player Kylian Mbappe showed off his tea pouring in the Moroccan way.
The Moroccan right-back Achraf Hakimi, Mbappe’s teammate at PSG, posted a video of the French center forward pouring Moroccan tea in a typically Moroccan style.
Hakimi tagged Mbappe in the video with a small caption reading: “Ramadan vibes,” and the story instantly went viral on social networks.
Hakimi and Mbappe have been posting pictures and photos together, reflecting their good friendship on and off the football pitch.
In their social media posts, both players keenly celebrate each other’s footballing talent and performances.
On January 25, Mbappe publicly lauded Hakimi after the Moroccan star put on a spectacular performance with Morocco’s national football team during the Africa Cup of Nations.
Mbappe notably took to Twitter to describe Hakimi as the best “right back in the world.”
Moroccan tea is renowned internationally for its minty warm flavor. Pouring tea from Moroccan “berrad” (teapot) is also a uniquely Moroccan way of serving the hot beverage.
Over the years, many celebrities have posed while trying to pour tea the Moroccan way.
In 2017, the American YouTube and Vine celebrity Amanda Cerny made international headlines after she posted a video of her taking part in a tea-pouring challenge with famous Moroccan songwriter and producer RedOne.
