Meet Man United WAGs - Swedish UNICEF ambassador, the doctor married to Onana

Old Trafford may have a leaky roof these days, but it also boasts 140 boxes where VIP guests can watch the action in luxury while staying warm and dry.

On a matchday, many of those boxes will be occupied by the wives and girlfriends of the players in Manchester United's first-team squad.

But who are they? Read on as we meet 11 members of the current squad of Man United WAGs.

Ana Pinho - wife of Bruno Fernandes

Captain Bruno Fernandes has been a Man United player since 2020 but he and Ana Pinho have been together for much longer than that.

Their romance began when Fernandes, now 30, was only 17 and they have been married since 2015.

Fernandes revealed earlier this year that Ana - who is a former futsal referee - had to pay for their early dates because he was skint as a teenager.

Writing in an open letter in May, Fernandes said: 'Ana has been with me on this ride since we were 16, 17, 18 years old.

'We met as teenagers, and when we first started dating, I wasn't making any money as a footballer, and she had a nice job working as a futsal referee on the weekends.

'She used to do three or four matches in a row on a Saturday, and then we would always go to the cinema on Sundays.

'I personally didn't have much money at the time so Ana was the one who had to pay for our movie tickets. Same with going out to dinner. Even at the pizza shop, she had to pay.'

Dr Melanie Kamayou - wife of Andre Onana

Dr Melanie Kamayou is an entrepreneur, model and influencer.

She is also, as her title suggests, a doctor - after earning a doctorate degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health in May 2022.

Melanie hit the headlines a year earlier in 2021 after her goalkeeper husband Andre Onana was issued with a nine-month ban from all football-related activity for violating anti-doping regulations.

Onana was said to have ingested banned substance Furosemide by mistake when he took some pills that had been prescribed to his wife, after he got the packaging mixed up.

Anna Mariana Casemiro - wife of Casemiro

Anna Mariana Casemiro is her husband's No 1 fan.

They have been married since 2014, when he was playing for Real Madrid.

Anna leapt to the defence of her man earlier this season when the Brazilian midfielder was criticised by multiple pundits after being substituted off at half-time in Man United's 3-0 loss to Liverpool.

She fired back at Casemiro's critics via Instagram by sharing an image of all the trophies he had won during his career, including five Champions League titles with Madrid.

Muri Lopez Benitez - girlfriend of Lisandro Martinez

Argentine centre back Lisandro Martinez and girlfriend Muri Lopez Benitez announced via Instagram earlier this month that they are expecting their first child.

Alongside a photo of their baby scan, the happy couple wrote: 'We are immensely happy that you came into our lives!!!

'You are the reflection of the long road we have traveled together, of each step taken with care, with conscience and with patience, but above all with love, that love that now brings us even more love! Thank you for choosing us!!!. They love you with all their soul... Mom & Dad'.

Claudia Pinto - fiancee of Diogo Dalot

Claudia Pinto is a regular at Old Trafford, where her fiancee has been plying his trade since 2018.

As well as being in the stands for many Man United matches, she was pictured by the side of full back Diogo Dalot in May 2023 when he signed a new contract.

Late last year, Claudia and Dalot announced the birth of their first child, a baby girl called Clara.

Eva Garcia - girlfriend of Alejandro Garnacho

Alejandro Garnacho and Eva Garcia are both from Madrid, although the Man United forward plays for Argentina at international level.

They went public with their relationship at the start of 2021 and then became parents in October 2023 when Eva gave birth to their son, Enzo.

Earlier this year, it was rumoured that the couple had broken up after Eva unfollowed Garnacho on Instagram.

However, those rumours proved to be untrue. She has since re-followed him on social media, as well as posting several family photos.

Anouska Santos - girlfriend of Luke Shaw

Left back Luke Shaw has been with partner Anouska Santos since 2017.

They now have three children together.

Anouska is close friends with Molly-Mae Hague and was publicly supportive of her following the former Love Island winner's split from Tommy Fury.

Rosilene Silva - fiancee of Antony

Man United winger Antony and girlfriend Rosilene Silva announced their engagement via Instagram in September.

Antony and his childhood sweetheart - who have known each other since their school years in Sao Paulo - uploaded a joint post featuring three photographs.

One of the pictures showed the 24-year-old footballer proposing on bent knee. Another featured Antony kissing his bride-to-be on her cheek.

The other photo was of a heart-shaped flower arrangement that framed the words 'Case Comigo?', meaning 'Marry Me?' in Portuguese.

Rosilene accompanied the post with the message: 'What God has in store for us is far more than we can imagine...'

Maja Nilsson - wife of Victor Lindelof

Maja Nilsson - who married United defender Victor Lindelof in 2018 - is a Swedish content creator and designer.

She founded the fashion line Lis Bonne Atelier.

Maja - who has more than 250,000 followers on Instagram - is also a UNICEF ambassador, a SENSAI makeup ambassador and a blogger for ELLE Sweden.

Fern Hawkins - wife of Harry Maguire

Former Man United skipper Harry Maguire married Fern Hawkins in 2022.

The childhood sweethearts tied the knot in the south of France. They had been engaged since 2018.

Fern is a qualified physiotherapist but it was reported earlier this year that she was planning a career change due to her passion for floristry.

Sabrina Kvist Jensen - partner of Christian Eriksen

Danish duo Sabrina Kvist Jensen and Christian Eriksen have been together for over a decade.

It is believed that their relationship began back in 2012. They are both fairly private people who prefer to live their lives away from social media.

Sabrina feared she had lost Eriksen in June 2021 after he collapsed on the pitch while playing for Denmark against Finland.

But the former Tottenham playmaker made a remarkable recovery following his cardiac arrest.
