It's 20 years to the day that Albert 'Chapi' Ferrer returned to the Camp Nou as a Chelsea player.
The defender had spent almost the entirety of his career at Barcelona before moving to Stamford Bridge a couple of years before.
On this occasion, he was playing against the Blaugrana in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final, with Chelsea 3-1 up from the first leg.
"It was very strange," Ferrer told Barcelona's official website.
"We got to 2-1 [down on the night] thanks to Tore Andre Flo's goal in the 60th minute.
"However, that day, the [Camp Nou] worked its magic again."
Dani Garcia netted a late goal to take the tie to extra time, where the hosts came through to progress 6-4 on aggregate.
"The Camp Nou was the scene of another historic comeback," Ferrer said.
"It was very strange to experience from the other side, but now I have good memories of that day.
"It was my homecoming and I think, despite the tough defeat, that it turned out to be a special day."
