Lionel Messi could miss next week’s Champions League clash between Barcelona and Inter after sustaining an arm injury.
The two giants are set to meet at Camp Nou on Wednesday evening.
The Argentine lasted just over 10 minutes in this evening’s Liga match against Sevilla and had scored a goal, but fell awkwardly on to his right arm.
It turned quite badly on the turf as he fell and was painful enough that he had to be substituted.
With the Clasico coming up next weekend against Real Madrid and Inter midweek, it’s entirely possible Messi will have to miss two of the biggest games of the season so far.
