Lionel Messi has joined the YoMeCorono campaign to raise funds for the purchase of medicines to fight the coronavirus.

Barcelona captain will participate in a virtual solidarity action that will be held tomorrow in Spain under the title #YoMeCorono and that will be a 10-hour online marathon promoted by the comic actor Carlos Latre, which will aim raise funds for the purchase of medicines and allocate them to the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
"I'm Leo Messi and I join Carlos Latre's campaign," Messi said in a video.
"I want to take this opportunity to send a greeting to all of those who will participate.
"A big hug to everyone."

The virtual solidarity marathon will begin this Wednesday at 10 am in Spain and will last until 8 pm, it will be possible to follow the YouTube channel and there will be entertainment, humour, talks, music and interviews, all conducted by Carlos Latre , with the aim of raising funds and then donating them to a laboratory that works to find the COVID-19 vaccine.
Latre will go on air for ten interrupted hours and interview a number of athletes, such as Carles Puyol, Andres Iniesta, Iker Casillas, Ricky Rubio and others.
