FIFA are a joke to have omitted Messi in the award....in terms of goals none of d selected 3 scored more dan him nor even in assist over all....in terms of trophies won none of d selected 3 also come close so i wonder wot carteria dey used in their selection

i still do not understand how the chose their nominee, i have no hate for anyone but if you asked me, a player from the world cup winning team should be there. Griezmann did not only won the World Cup, he was the best player in the Europa cup and he was also outstanding the league. Modric isn't supposed to be there, yes he was great at the world cup but that's not enough because this award is for the whole year not just for the world cup tournament.

Well friends don't be disheartened. It's good that he is left out.
