Milan are reportedly considering selling Hakan Calhanoglu to RB Leipzig for €22m and reinvesting that money on Genoa striker Krzysztof Piatek.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Leipzig remain interested in Calhanoglu and have upped their bid to €22m for the ex-Bundesliga ace.
The website explains that despite Gennaro Gattuso’s desire to keep the Turkish midfielder, his exit could raise funds for an assault on Piatek, who is Milan’s first choice to replace Gonzalo Higuain.
The Rossoneri are unable to splash the cash without making sales this month after UEFA fined them €12m for breaching FFP rules.

why they choose going after Piatek like he's the only striker in the world 🌍 . i mean he's good and everything but not for 50m are they never learn the lesson from Inter after they buy that young Brazilian player for big money and now he's in loan year after year and Bayern with Rento Sanches and many more who spend a lot of cash for players to turn up to be flops 🤒 . also above all of that we will lose midfielder like Calhanoglu 😧 i mean we already struggle in the midfield after Bonaventure injured . if Milan looking for striker to replace Higuain they should go after Belotti he will cost us less than Piatek and also there's not much different in the age too 😘.
