Liverpool are top of the league and unbeaten after their 2-0 triumph over Wolves.
Trent Alexander-Arnold was in the crowd at the Molineux Stadium celebrating with Reds fans and both the players and manager Jurgen Klopp also delighted in the Premier League victory.
After the match James Milner went across to the travelling Kop and removed his match shirt to give to two young Liverpool fans.
It was a wonderful moment and, of course, one any fan would cherish for the rest of their life.
However, what happened next was nothing short of wonderful.
The two youngsters, as reported by their dad on Twitter, refused to take the shirt and instead told a steward at the game to let Milner know they wanted his shirt to be given to a fan in a wheelchair sitting in front of them at the game.
Paul Jones wrote: "Really appreciate James Milner coming over to try and give his shirt to my boys tonight, but even more proud that they said to the steward to give to the lad in the wheelchair in front of us instead."
Scores of football fans have credited the boys for their touching gesture on social media.
And Milner himself has posted to ask the family to get in touch with him so he can give them shirts for their actions.
The 32-year-old replied to Mr Jones' tweet and said: "Great gesture from the two boys, I’ll get a couple of shirts over to you - & if you give them away as well l’ll defo get the message! #YNWA #merryxmas".
And now the two youngsters have received new shirts from Milner, according to their dad's Twitter.
Paul Jones wrote again: "Massive thank you to Milner for making two boys very, very happy today! I promise they won’t give these ones away."
