Luka Modric and Real Madrid have enjoyed seven years together since he landed at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu from Tottenham.
The Croatian didn't want the anniversary of his signing to slip by unnoticed and he himself shared his sentiments on Twitter.
"The beginning of an incredible trip with the best club in the world," he wrote, after tweeting the date to introduce the tweet.
"Seven years of happiness and pride to belong to the Real Madrid family."
Now No.10, Modric previously wore the No.19 shirt at the club after he arrived to work under Jose Mourinho's orders in 2012.
His initial contract was a five-year deal, but he'll continue at Los Blancos until 2021, should he see out his current agreement.
In doing so, he'll be at the Bernabeu until just days before his 36th birthday.
