Mohamed Salah has been named the 2024/25 Premier League Player of the Season for his stellar performances in Liverpool's title-winning campaign.

Salah, who also won the award in 2017/18, is the fifth player to win the gong on multiple occasions, following Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo, Nemanja Vidic and Kevin De Bruyne.
The Egyptian has enjoyed a stunning season for Liverpool, notching 28 goals and 18 assists to help the Reds earn their second Premier League trophy.
The 46 goal involvements mean he has broken the record for most contributions in a 38-game season and is one away from the leading tally jointly held by Alan Shearer and Andy Cole, who set 47 in a 42-game campaign.
This season, Salah has moved his Liverpool goal tally up to 244, which places him fourth on the club's all-time list.
He is fifth on the all-time Premier League list with 185 goals.
Leading both the goals and assists leaderboards, Salah could become the first player to win the Golden Boot, Playmaker and Player of the Season awards in a single campaign.
