On August 28, Beijing time (CEST), GiveMeSport reporter Ben Jacobs reported that Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara has been offered to Chelsea and Liverpool.
According to Ben Jacobs' report, Crystal Palace had previously made an offer for Lamine Camara earlier this month, but it was rejected by Monaco. Now, the 22-year-old Senegalese midfielder has been offered to Chelsea and Liverpool as a potential signing option in the final stage of the transfer window.
Camara joined Monaco from Metz in the summer of 2024 for €15 million. Last season, he made 31 appearances for Monaco, contributing 3 goals and 4 assists. His current market value on Transfermarkt is €40 million.

Camara is a good player. Chelsea is for African midfielders. No 12 is waiting for him to remind everyone for Obi Mikel. And I'm sure Monaco will sell him to chelsea, then Liverpool.
But he is not in the class of Mikel even recalling Mikel Obi at 22 years old. We need a better midfielder. He is not a good replacement for Enzo. He is like Caicedo or Lavia. We need another creative Midfielder and not a holding or foul prown midfielder
