According to confirmed reports from transfer experts David Ornstein and Romano, Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers is set to transfer to Chelsea for a fee of £117 million, signing a 6+1 year contract. This means he will soon reunite with his good friend Palmer at the club.
The most memorable thing about the two, of course, is their identical "Cold" celebration. In fact, Morgan Rogers used this move first, and Palmer then paid tribute to him by doing the same.
Palmer came from the Manchester City academy, and Morgan Rogers joined the Manchester City academy in 2019. The two grew up together in the Manchester City youth system and formed a deep friendship.
Palmer left Manchester City in the summer of 2023, transferring to Chelsea for €47 million. After several loan spells, Morgan Rogers also left the team in the summer of 2023, transferring to Middlesbrough, then moving to Aston Villa, and will also join Chelsea.
