Jose Mourinho delivered a short press conference on Friday morning to preview Manchester United's match vs Newcastle , with no signs of his mood thawing.
A poor display in the goalless draw against Valencia in the Champions League hardly snapped his side out of their poor run.
With a dismal 10th place position in the Premier League, nine points off the top of the table, the title could already be gone.
And Mourinho is clearly feeling the pressure with his unwillingness to open up showing his understanding of the situation.
Mourinho only allowed six questions and answered just five in a terse preview of the weekend - here is the Q and A that lasted just three minutes and 32 seconds:
Why are you doing so badly?
For many different reasons.
Will you tell us what they are?
No.
How important is it to beat Newcastle at Old Trafford on Saturday?
"Very important. I know we are in the beginning of October and you look at the tables all around Europe and the tables in September and October don’t reflect what is going to happen in a few months or at the end of the season.
"We can do much better. To do that we need points, points we lost in the last two Premier League matches. One point out of six, and we know that to improve that position, we need to win these three points.
"Our opponent for different reasons they also need the points. Very, very, very good coach. A team that is always very well organised especially against teams in top half of the table.
"The results they had against the top teams didn’t get them points yet this season but gave them very close results. Very difficult matches for the opposition, so we expect a very difficult match."
Is it time to repay the fans after one home win since opening day?
"It is true. One defeat at home all season. One defeat in seven matches. Three draws. Not the feeling of defeat but not the happiness of victory."
Four games without a win, that is unacceptable for club of United’s size, isn't it?
"Yes I accept."
Are you doing all you can?

If man utd don't win this game than I'm 100 % sure he doesn't care about his job. He is doing this on purpose and wants to get sacked just to get his 19million sacking fee as per his contract. Because there's no way Jose mourinho is supposed to lose this game coz let's face it as much as I like Newcastle but they should nowhere be capable of competing against man utd. No offense to Newcastle fans I really like that club. Against any another club I would support them. I really hope they turn this season around they have really good manger.

Best Answers for the questions posed to Him. Mourinho knows that United must improve for his job to be safe and more easier but that does not take anything away from the goal. This is October and 9 points is 3 matches so Mathematically the season is not gone half way. Still United must start producing in order to give something to the fan... that thing is trophy. Other teams like Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City have all started well this season and is a good thing but the job is not done yet. There are still 3 major trophies available FA CUP, Premier League and the Champions League so let us all chill and watch events as they unfold.

United's problem is journalists, I will continue to maintain this stand! Is it only united that's losing match? City, Spurs, Liverpool all lose match whether in epl or champions league! Football journalists should not kill this great club. United is solvent, what else do we need than to give the coach enough time to put his house in order! The coach we're criticizing is a word class coach, so, let's be patient. United is not Chelsea or Barcelona that will continue to change coach like cloths! When you decide to bring in new coach now, for the next three seasons result won't come! That, mourinho failed in Chelsea and Madrid doesn't mean he will also fail in United! United is not for failure!

He is preparing everyone of a possible surprise result against Newcastle. I think everyone can’t wait to see what Mourinho has install for this game. Anything can happen with Mourinho in control. Jones may even get a start, Pogba could be on the bench with Martial. A possible team lineup wouldn’t surprise.
