Jose Mourinho has named his best-ever XI made up of players he managed during his legendary career, with stars from both of his stints at Chelsea dominating the line-up.
Mourinho's first managerial job came at Benfica in 2000 and since then he has had spells in charge of Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Tottenham. The 60-year-old is currently in charge of Roma and has won league titles in four different countries, as well as two Champions Leagues.
During that time, Mourinho has worked with some of the greatest footballers in the world and he has now picked a dream team of players he has coached in an appearance on former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel's Obi One Podcast.
The impressive starting XI is made up of eight players who played for Mourinho at Stamford Bridge, two former Real Madrid stars and one ex-Inter Milan player with no one from his stints at United and Tottenham making the cut.
In goal, Mourinho opted for Petr Cech over Iker Casillas, having won three league titles at Chelsea with the Czech goalkeeper in between the sticks. Javier Zanetti gets the nod at right-back, having won four major trophies under Mourinho at Inter.
The rest of the back four is made up of ex-Chelsea players, with John Terry, Ricardo Carvalho and William Gallas joining Zanetti. Sergio Ramos is a surprising defensive snub, having starred under Mourinho in Madrid, while the selection of Gallas at left-back over Marcelo and Ashley Cole will surely raise some eyebrows.
In midfield, Mourinho has a wealth of options at his disposal having worked with the likes Xabi Alonso and Wesley Sneijder. However, neither Alonso or Sneijder make the cut with Mesut Ozil joining Chelsea duo Claude Makelele and Frank Lampard in the centre of the park.
Cristiano Ronaldo starts out wide, with Eden Hazard getting the nod on the opposite flank. Didier Drogba, meanwhile, has been picked up front ahead of the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Samuel Eto'o.
Jose Mourinho's best-ever XI: Petr Cech; Javier Zanetti, John Terry, Ricardo Carvalho, William Gallas; Claude Makelele, Frank Lampard, Mesut Ozil; Cristiano Ronaldo, Eden Hazard, Didier Drogba
