Another midfield duo are becoming close on social media
"Love's a strong word but we do really like each other."
Dele Alli is famous for saying that when questioned about his bromance with Eric Dier.
The pair have become good friends off the pitch and can often be found posting social media updates about each other when they are not playing together.
Alli joined Spurs the year after Dier and has described him as "like a big brother" in the past.
Their bromance has grown and grown, but is it time for them to step aside and let another budding partnership bloom?
Step forward Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko.
Alli is sidelined at the moment with a hamstring injury, and with Mousa Dembele and Christian Eriksen also out injured, it has given the likes of Winks and Sissoko the chance to shine in the middle of the park for Tottenham.
Both were at the forefront as Spurs beat West Ham 1-0 at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Winks was snapped arriving at the ground looking sharp in his club suit and the midfielder posted the photo on his official Instagram account following the victory saying: "Great result...even better to get the win in a derby," with a winking emoji.
A number of fans responded to the photo, but the most telling was the response from Sissoko.
The Frenchman, who was excellent on the day, setting up the winning goal for Erik Lamela, responded by saying: "wow wow wow pretty man lol."
Winks enjoyed that comment and sent back three laughing emojis.
Do Dele Alli and Eric Dier need to up their social media bromance game?
