Napoli director Cristiano Giuntoli claims their all-attack line-up against Liverpool is “a strong signal” in the Champions League.
It kicks off at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT), click here for the line-ups and LIVEBLOG.
“Many things have changed over the last year,” Giuntoli told Sky Sport Italia, referring to last season’s 1-0 win here over the eventual trophy winners.
“We have increased our confidence and are facing Liverpool on an even playing field now. Carlo Ancelotti wanted to give the team that kind of courage by fielding a very attack-minded team, as that sends a strong signal.
“We want to win playing our football, not trying to neutralise the opposition and their characteristics.”
Napoli brought in Eljif Elmas, Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Hirving Lozano and Fernando Llorente this summer.
“It was important to strengthen the squad with very talented players. We were lacking an understudy to Arkadiusz Milik, so now we are complete in every area.
“If it’s the best team of the Aurelio De Laurentiis era, that we’ll have to wait and see.”

klopp made it easier for them by fielding milner from the go.. in my opinion, he made a judgemental error in starting milner over the ox or gini. klopp needs to understand that he can't pair Henderson and Milner against attack minded physical sides and not have gini or the ox in that midfield. he did it against psg last season. hope he learns. do not underestimate your opponent's midfield
