Napoli's woeful UCL run: just 3 wins in 12 matches, with 8 away games yielding 1 draw and 7 losses

In the fourth round of the Champions League group stage, Napoli lost 4-1 away to Porto at the Estádio do Dragão, giving Porto their first win of the campaign after opening with three consecutive defeats.

Napoli have won one and lost three of their first four matches. Their only victory was a 4-3 home win over Bodo Glimt, while they have lost 1-0 at home to Arsenal, 3-1 away to Villarreal and now 4-1 away to Porto.

Last season, Napoli were eliminated from the Champions League at the group stage after finishing 30th with two wins, two draws, and four losses. They have recorded three wins, two draws, and seven losses in their last 12 Champions League matches.

All three wins came at home. On the road, Napoli have fared even worse, recording one draw and seven defeats in their last eight Champions League away matches.

Massimiliano Allegri's team will travel to the Etihad Stadium to face Man City in the next round.
