The Costa Rica international is unhappy about not getting playing time and was even contemplating a move in the forthcoming winter window.
Keylor Navas has no interest in staying with Real Madrid as a substitute and the goalkeeper is deeply unhappy with his position at the club, with the Costa Rican now just being used by the club in the Copa del Rey. The player has targeted a move to the Premier, a league where he he is held in high esteem by many leading clubs. At the moment his agents are liaising with would be suitors with the intention that Navas packs his bags and heads to England next summer. Real Madrid, understand his frustration and are not expected to impede the goalkeeper from leaving should a suitable offer for his services materialise.
There was a possibility that the stopper was angling for a move in the winter market but the club made their position clear and would intervene to ensure that the Costa Rica international stays in the Spanish capital until the end of the 2018/19 campaign recalling the indifferent performances delivered by Kiko Casilla when Keylor was injured last season. Madrid are anxious to have Navas available when the crunch time comes around should Courtois be unable to play.
Zidane exit key
Zinedine Zidane's departure in May was the curtain call for Keylor with the French coach even resisting calls to initially sign De Gea and also put his foot down when Kepa Arrizabalaga was highly linked with the Bernabeu outfit last winter.
Zidane's replacement Julen Lopetegui initially opted to use a rotation police using Courtois for league games with Keylor featuring in cup and Champions league fixtures. With the recent departure of the Basque coach and the promotion of Santi Solari as new manager, the Argentine has made it clear that no rotation will take place between the sticks with Courtois being the definitive No. 1.
Looking ahead to the 2019/20 season, the club have plans to make Lunin the second goalkeeper in command and despite having limited playing time on loan with Leganés, the Madrid scouting team have deposited great amounts of faith in the young Ukrainian being a key Real Madrid goalkeeper of tomorrow.

Navas has been our main gk for years he wouldn't accept to be a backup gk. I think it would be right for him to leave asap. Club just can't play him for the fact he has been an integral part of 3 ucl . also navas’ case is proving that CR7’s decision to leave was right. He is legit the only real madrid legend who was smart enough to leave before being rejected . Imagine winning 3 CLs in a row and getting benched for no reason. He deserves more respect .

where in the epl would he go? Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, all recently invested in a young goalie this summer Man City have Ederson for the long term, Man U have de gea, as long as he doesnt leave Everton surely wont let go of england international pickford, despite interest in him and a few mental errors..... that leaves Spurs with Hugo Lloris, who has been struggling recently, but i dont think they would replace him with a 32 y.o. when they have the bloke they are raving about, i think its Gazzaninga or something. so that leaves him to a club outside of the top 7, which surely wont be able to pay him his wage ask (except Fullham with mr. expensive)

I don't why some coaches at time make stupid decision, a keeper who a ll competition conceded less goals and took three UCL in three unbroken years, with out disrespect to any of his team mates nor officials and the only thing he get in return is benching and now no body from the team can do anything about it or say anything about it. some of us the fans of the team don't want him to leave but if this is how they want to pay him back then let him leave to the team that will value and respect him for hard work

you just can't blame Navas for this unfortunate move . Well he said it himself that after winning 3 Champions League in a row he ended up not playing at all . Zinedine Zidane trusted him greatly between the sticks and he definitely proved himself to the task and he has been excellent and consistent. Unlucky for him Perez had to bring in Courtios and at the moment Courtios is dominating.
