Juventus director Pavel Nedved called Paul Pogba “one of the best players in the world, but he’s at Manchester United, so talking about it is futile.”
“We have to look at Juventus over the course of the season. We won every game except for the draw with Genoa, we are satisfied with what we’ve done and want to continue along this path,” Nedved told Sky Sport Italia.
They are fresh from a Champions League victory away to Manchester United, decided by Paulo Dybala.
“It is certainly helpful for the belief of the lads. They put in the best performance I’ve seen from a Juve side at Old Trafford, which is certainly not easy.”
The director was asked about reports Juve wanted a reunion with Manchester United midfielder Pogba, maybe even in January.
“I think Pogba is one of the best players in the world, so it’d be wonderful, but he’s at Manchester and therefore talking about it is futile.
“We’re alert on the transfer market, but January is a long way away.”
