New Anoeta grass prepared for Barcelona visit

The new Anoeta grass has been completed on Wednesday, 10 days beforeBarcelona are the first visitor to set foot on the relaid field.

The installation of the Anoeta grass began this past Monday and 15 workers were dedicated to exclusively working on 40 sods of green to perfectly cover the stadium grounds.

The new carpet of the house has been and will be very carefully maintained since it was chosen to replace the old one which was always kept to perfection despite awful weather conditions.

The grass of the new Anoeta arrived from Portugal where it has been planted and tendered to for months.

From today on it will be watered and fertilized in such a specific way that it will be a perfect image almost from that first day against Barcelona.

Sociedad want the image of the pitch to be totally opposite to that of Zorrilla in Valladoid and at the moment, Barca will be welcomed by the best possible condition to give a great show.
