Newcastle transfer target Danny Rose looks to be staying at Tottenham for now, as the Magpies aren't willing to meet his wage demands, according to The Sun.
The left-back earns around £60,000-per-week in North London at the moment, while Newcastle are looking to sign players for around £50,000-per-week.
Tottenham put Danny Rose up on the market this summer, making him available for around £25million, putting Newcastle on high alert.
Right now Rose looks more likely to be heading to another league, with Paris Saint-Germain front runners for his signature.
They're willing to pay higher wages than Juventus, who have also been linked with the 29-year-old.
Rose has been at Tottenham for 12 years, after leaving hometown club Leeds for £1million.
He has made 198 appearances for Tottenham, scoring 10 goals and getting 27 assists. He also has 27 caps for England.
Rose is one of eight players made available by Tottenham for transfer as they aim to raise funds for new purchases. The club have already added record signing Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke - who was loaned back to Leeds - so far this summer.
Kieran Trippier has left and lined up for Atletico Madrid in their pre-season match against Numancia last Saturday.
Newcastle recently broke the club transfer record for the second time this year with the signing of Joelinton from Hoffenheim.
New boss Steve Bruce is looking to strengthen the squad ahead of the Premier League season, after losing a handful of players this transfer window.
