The next Tottenham manager market will be an interesting one to watch over the final weeks of the 2022/23 Premier League campaign after Antonio Conte's exit at the weekend

Julian Nagelsmann is the frontrunner to be the next Tottenham manager. That is, at least, according to the bookmakers.

Nagelsmann is the favourite, however, and is almost odds-on to be the man in the dugout come the first game of the 2023/24 season. According to Betfair, odds slashed overnight on the German to be the next boss, dropping from 13/8 to 5/4 now.

Betfair spokesman Sam Rosbottom said: "The search for who will be in the Spurs' dugout for the first game next season continues, and one name is currently dominating the betting market. Since his exit from the Bayern Munich top job, punters have been heavily backing Julian Nagelsmann, and odds on the 35-year-old to be in charge for the opening match of next season continue to fall. Overnight we have slashed his odds from 13/8 to 5/4, with punters continuing to back the German.

"Fan favourite and former manager Mauricio Pochettino is currently second favourite at 4/1, and with most of the bets going for Naglesmann, Poch's chances have been on the drift."
