Neymar Netflix documentary: 'The perfect Chaos' first trailer released

Netflix have released the first trailer for Neymar's new three-part docu-series 'The Perfect Chaos' which will be out later this month.

The show will take viewers on a journey throughout the Brazilian's life, from his childhood dreams, to starting with Santos, to moving to Barcelona then Paris. As well as showing his off-field life, the documentary will feature interviews with the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi, Angel Di Maria and David Beckham.

The 29-year-old is widely regarded as one of the top players in the world but also has many critics and has attracted plenty of controversy throughout his career. The series will cover the highs and lows in the career of one of the most famous athletes on the planet and allow fans greater access than ever before.

"Beloved worldwide but also a lightning rod for criticism, Neymar shares the highs and lows of his personal life and brilliant football career," reads Netflix's description of the show.

The documentary is directed by David Charles Rodriguez and gives a candid look into Neymar's off-pitch life, along with the marketing operation ran by his father. We also see his sometimes-turbulent times with the Brazilian national team, where he is a hero to many, but where the pressure is great and some still want more of him.

Neymar remains the world's most expensive footballer after his transfer from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 for 222 million euros. His time in Ligue 1 has been marred by injury, however, as well as other controversies, including questions surrounding his attitude and commitment.

All three episodes of the limited series will drop on January 25.
