Noni Madueke has all but confirmed that Mauricio Pochettino will become the next Chelsea head coach after admitting he is excited to work with the Argentine at Stamford Bridge
Noni Madueke has all but confirmed Mauricio Pochettino's appointment at Chelsea.
football.london understands the Argentine has agreed a three-year deal to take over Chelsea's first team. However, the club are yet to announce the decision themselves but it should happen in the very near future now that the Blues' season is over.
Madueke, who was speaking to Sky Sports after Chelsea's 1-1 draw with Newcastle United, shared his excitement about working with Pochettino. He said: "I think he is a good manager.
"He has been in big places around the world and he was a great success in the Premier League. I am looking forward to working with and learning from him."
We await the club's official announcement but it should happen very soon. The likes of Madueke will be looking to really benefit from the Argentine's appointment as Chelsea look for a much-improved 2023/24 season.
Madueke was also asked about what the side need to do to make sure the above does happen. He replied: "Just cohesion and pulling in the right direction.
"I think next season we need to go back to basics. The new manager needs to come in and everyone needs to get behind him in training for him and Chelsea to be successful and there’s no reason why we can’t be with the talent in his squad."

I'll say it again, the problem with Chelsea this season wasn't about coaches nor players. These guys did their best. The problem with this club this year is deeper!!! Believe it or not, Chelsea is under a curse or call it a spell!!! They have to settle with the former owner!!! If not, next year maybe worst!!!
What time of analyzing is this man... Know ur football before u comment...
