After putting in a brilliant performance in their draw with historic rivals Liverpool last time out, in which they were so close to claiming the three points, Manchester United will be hoping to build on that with a good result against Norwich this weekend.

United are likely to be without Paul Pogba and Luke Shaw for the game, but Anthony Martial is set to return and could start up front for Ole Gunnar Solksjaer's side, with Marcus Rashford deployed on the left hand side of attack, alongside Pereira and James in a 4-2-3-1.

So, what XI will Solksjaer go for against the Canaries? And, what will the final score be at Carrow Road?

We used FIFA 20 to predict the outcome of Norwich City vs Manchester United - just for a bit of fun.

To set up this simulation, we used kick-off mode within FIFA 20 but didn't select a team to control; we then selected the teams and watched the match play out by itself, to give us a unique prediction.

The AI difficulty was set to world class, with the line-up updated with the latest transfers, injuries and suspensions.

We predict Norwich will set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with the line-up as follows: Krul; Aarons, Amadou, Godfrey, Lewis; McLean, Leitner; Buendia, Stepermann, Cantwell; Pukki.

We predict that Manchester United will set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with the line-up as follows: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Young; McTominay, Fred; James, Pereira, Rashford; Martial.

With Norwich looking to dominate possession in the opening stages, United were more than happy to sit off and play on the counter-attack, something that suits the players they have in their squad, with James, Rashford and Martial all capable of running in behind.

Whilst the home team did have the majority of possession, they weren't creating any chances, but United were.

United's first chance of the game came in the 35th minute, with Daniel James beating Godrey and progressing into the area, but Krul was equal to his shot.

And United had another chance just six minutes later, when Martial robbed Godfrey on the ball and sprinted clear of the defence, but when one-on-one with the goalkeeper, the French striker couldn't finish.

A big opportunity went begging.

In the second-half, Norwich were much more cautious in possession and weren't giving United a sniff on the counter.

But, they weren't looking dangerous either, so the game became a very slow tempo affair, with neither side being effective.

Just when the game looked over, five minutes from time, a moment of magic from United won the game.

James ran at the Norwich defence, before playing a brilliant one-two with Martial, who then fired a fantastic effort into Krul's top left hand corner.

An unstoppable effort.

Martial was United's best player, leading the line well and setting up James' winning goal.

But, Rashford had a poor game on the left side of attack.
