Norwich City-crazy couple Shun and Maiko Tomii have given their son the middle name Farkelife — in honour of manager Daniel Farke.
Farke has been serenaded with Farkelife, to the tune of Parklife by Blur, throughout the season as he has led the Canaries to a surprise promotion to the Premier League.
Shun and Maiko welcomed son Kiraku to the world on April 23, which was just five days before promotion was secured with a 2-1 win against Blackburn Rovers.
The couple therefore wanted to show their adoration for Norwich in their first-born son's name.
Shun has been a huge Norwich fan since moving to the city from Japan 25 years ago.
The 40-year-old and his wife, 38, run a sushi restaurant in central Norwich.
Mr Tomii said: 'In Japan we don't have middle names. Being in Norwich for 25 years, I thought for my son's name I would put a middle name.
'And we were thinking about it, me and the wife, the two of us are big Norwich fans, so we have a season ticket at Carrow Road.
'This year it has been fantastic to watch, and be a part of the culture, the football club culture.
'And I thought it would be a good idea for something related to Norwich for my son's middle name.'
He added: 'On Twitter I asked my followers what kind of middle name would be nice and people started throwing some opinions for my son's middle name and nearly all were related to player names.
'At first I thought a player's name might be good. But I thought this year, at Norwich we have played as a team, not just as individual people.
'Everybody was important in this promotion and everybody was behind it, fans, club and manager. Everybody. I think that this togetherness, I felt really good about it.
'Then I thought it might be a good idea to have something unique, not just one person's name.'
Maiko then settled on Farkelife, and that name has now been officially registered.
Mr Tomii added: 'It symbolised the whole culture of Norwich at the moment. We welcome so many Germans, and local youngsters, it's unity and I like that.'
