On June 10 , Nottingham Forest officially announced that Kristian Clarke has extended his contract with the club until the summer of 2027, with the club holding an option to extend it by a further year.

The combative midfielder joined the academy in 2018 and has represented the U18 team in recent years. In the most recent season, Kristian made 6 appearances for the B team. Clarke's new contract extends his time at Trentside, and the 19-year-old Zimbabwean player will join the B team for pre-season training ahead of the upcoming season.

Kristian said upon signing his new contract: "I'm delighted to be staying here. I've grown a lot personally since joining the club, and I want to continue developing and improving my game. It hasn't always been plain sailing, but I'm really looking forward to working hard next season, contributing to the team, and hopefully playing a lot of games for them."

Academy Manager Chris McGuane said: "We're delighted to be able to give Kristian the opportunity to continue his development with us. He's been here since 2018, and his game has come on leaps and bounds, enabling him to really influence matches. Despite some recent injury setbacks, he's shown a fantastic attitude in overcoming those challenges, and we're really looking forward to seeing him back on the pitch and fulfilling the talent he clearly possesses."
