Nottingham Forest have confirmed the £5.5million signing of Strasbourg keeper Matz Sels, sharing an official picture of the 31-year-old in the club's colours on their social media pages.
Sels was seen boarding his flight to England on Thursday morning ahead of his medical with the Premier League side later that day - earlier bein seen smiling as he made his way onto the aircraft.
Sels has been an ever present for Strasbourg this season, with the Belgian having been appointed as club captain in the summer.
The goalkeeper, who has won six caps for his country, is returning to England after previously spending two years at Newcastle between 2016 and 2018.
Nuno Espirito Santo has been desperate to add a new keeper ahead of the transfer deadline.
Goalkeepers Matt Turner and Odysseas Vlachodimos have continued to stuggle for Forest, despite signing for the club only last summer.
Forest had been exploring a number of options including a £15m deal for Crystal Palace's Sam Johnstone and a deal for Real Betis stopper Rui Silva.
Johnstone was keen to move in order to preserve his Euro 2024 chances with England but Forest have now signed Sels.
