Nottingham Forest want Huddersfield Town midfielder Lewis O'Brien as well as left-back Harry Toffolo.

Toffolo scored six times and provided seven assists as the 26-year-old shone for Town in the Championship last season.

Academy product O'Brien was almost ever-present as the impressive Terriers finished third at the end of the regular campaign.

Both players appealed unsuccessfully for second-half penalties as referee John Moss courted controversy during the Championship playoff final on May 29, when Forest beat Town 1-0 to secure promotion to the Premier League.

Forest have signed Troyes right back Giulian Biancone, 22, for £5m and remain in talks for £13m Mainz defender Moussa Niakhate.

They are hopeful of agreeing a deal for Burnley goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey while Burnley want Manchester City keeper Arijanet Muric.
