Ryan Giggs looked absolutely bemused following his post-match handshake with Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill.
The former Manchester United legend got off Wales' Nations League campaign off to a flying start as they eased past Ireland 4-1 on Thursday evening.
However, as the two managers went to shake hands at the full-time whistle, Giggs was left with a perplexed look on his face as O'Neill marched down the tunnel with his backroom staff.
The incident was picked up on social media and left users questioning what was said between the two that caused the look of confusion on Giggs' face.
One Twitter user pointed out that this is how the 44-year-old always looks and appears to give off a confused expression regularly.
Others used the opportunity to make jokes by thinking up what O'Neill could have uttered in their brief encounter.
Someone said that O'Neill spoiled the ending of the famous movie 'The Sixth Sense' by saying: 'Bruce Willis was dead the whole time...'
Another user joked that the former Aston Villa manager called him 'Giggs' rather than 'Ryan or Giggsy' in reference to an anecdote Giggs infamously told during ITV's coverage of the World Cup earlier this summer.
One thing is for sure, Giggs was happy to let everyone know about his delight over his side's performance on Thursday evening.
He told Sky Sports: 'I enjoyed the performance, and the goals, but you always think you can do better.
'The lads were magnificent, scored some brilliant goals and played some great football. I can't be much happier.'
