OFFICIAL: Barcelona reach agreement with Bayern Munich over the signing of Arturo Vidal

Barcelona and Bayern Munich have reached an agreement for the transfer of player Arturo Vidal.

Arturo Vidal has signed a three-year contract with Barcelona and will undergo medical examination in the next few days.

What's more, Barca will soon inform of the arrival of the player and the agenda of the presentation.

It is understood that the Chilean will be unveiled next week and Barcelona are set to pay €18m plus €3m in add-ons after he left Bayern Munich's training camp on Friday.

Arturo Erasmo Vidal Pardo (born 22 May 1987) is a Chilean professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich and the Chile national team.

After starting his career with Colo-Colo, Chile's most successful club, Vidal joined Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen, where he played for four seasons. He then moved to Juventus in 2011, where he won Scudetti in all four of his seasons, played in the UEFA Champions League final, and became widely recognized as one of the best midfielders in world football.

Vidal has earned over 90 caps for the Chile national team since his debut in 2007, playing in the 2011 and 2015 Copa América tournaments, as well as the Copa América Centenario, the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups, and the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup, helping his nation to victory at the 2015 Copa América and the Copa América Centenario.
