OFFICIAL: Coutinho, Abde and Dest tested positive for COVID-19

Barcelona confirm that Sergino Dest, Philippe Coutinho, and Abde Ezzalzouli have tested positive for Covid19.

Thursday's tests found Coutinho, Dest and Abde to be carrying the virus, and it comes one day after Ousmane Dembele, Samuel Umtiti and Gavi all tested positive too.

The other four players in the Barcelona squad that have COVID-19 at present are Dani Alves, Jordi Alba, Clement Lenglet and Alejandro Balde.

Xavi Hernandez is therefore going to be very short on numbers for Barcelona's match away at Real Mallorca on January 2, with Sergio Busquets suspended and the likes of Ansu Fati, Pedri, Memphis Depay and Sergi Roberto are all injured.

Goalkeepers: Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Neto, Inaki Pena.

Defenders: Gerard Pique, Ronald Araujo, Oscar Mingueza, Eric Garcia.

Midfielders: Riqui Puig, Frenkie de Jong.
