OFFICIAL: Former England & Tottenham striker Darren Bent announces retirement

Former England and Tottenham striker Darren Bent announces retirement after a brilliant career at the age of 35.

The 35-year-old, who won 13 caps for the Three Lions and score 106 Premier League goals, has been without a club since being released by Derby County at the end of the 2017/18 season.

Bent is one of just 28 players to have scored more than 100 Premier League goals, and played for six different clubs in the top-flight.

Bent finished his career with a total of 217 goals in 568 matches, as well four goals in 13 appearances for England
